All About Who I Am
My name is Heather Harris, and I am a senior at Kingsford High School. During the summer, I love to play softball and tennis. I also love to go camping with my family and go to a Girl Scout Camp. In the fall, I hunt birds and deer as well as go camping. Some activities I participate in winter are snowmobiling, ice fishing, and ice skating. Throughout the year, I go to my cabin up at Carney Lake to hunt, fish, and swim. During the school year, I teach a faith formation class at my church for the third graders this year, but I have taught fourth graders and kindergartners.
About two years ago, my parents were watching a show called M*A*S*H, so I had stopped to watch it. This was the start for me to watch various old shows that are still played on the television occasionally. Later on, my parents showed me a show call Hogan's Heroes. With the funny characters and ridiculous plot and circumstances, I was instantly hooked. Set during World War II, I wanted to learn more about glimpses of the war that were portrayed. All of these events have lead me to this point where I want others to learn and understand World War II in an easier format. This is what my Genius Hour Project will be with the ending product of a book.
